About the Opportunity The School Officer role supports the School of Engineering by delivering high quality administrative and operational support. As the first point of contact for administration and operational enquiries, the position requires strong communication and organisational skills, adaptability, and teamwork. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role suits a self motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic and fast paced environment and is keen to develop broader administrative competencies through cross-training and collaboration. About you The ideal candidate should meet the following selection criteria: relevant qualification and work experience in a tertiary institution or similar environment. demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, maintain attention to details, and deliver timely and accurate outcomes in a dynamic and fast paced environment. excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally and empathetically to a broad range of stakeholders, including students, staff, and external stakeholders. possess strong computer literacy skills demonstrated through ability to efficiently use a wide range of software and digital tools to support workplace productivity and communication. demonstrated experience in providing high-quality administrative support across diverse areas such as finance, human resources, student services, and stakeholder liaison. proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently, showing initiative, sound judgement, and a proactive approach to problem solving and supporting operational needs beyond routine duties. demonstrated personal attributes that aligns with the University's values.
