Student Life The Student Life Directorate delivers services and evidence-based programs for current students that aims to contribute to improved health and wellbeing; as well as supporting students to succeed in their higher education studies. The Directorate has three major teams focused on (1) Health and Wellbeing; (2) Students course advice, course progress and success; and (3) Student Experience and Student Voice. The Directorate focuses on taking a person-centred approach when engaging with students; collaboration across Schools and Directorates and continuous quality improvement to make a transformational and meaningful impact on students experience at University. About the Opportunity We are excited to be offering this new and dynamic opportunity for a Student Wellbeing Program Officer. The successful candidate will play an instrumental role in supporting Student Life in achieving its vision by: Supporting the planning of initiatives to help students improve their wellbeing. Implementing programs to help support retention for students from low socioeconomic backgrounds. About you Our ideal candidate will be: Tertiary qualified (preferably within a Community Services, Community Development or Public Health related discipline) and/or possess equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Have exposure to financial wellbeing and food security programs with an understanding of the needs of diverse student cohorts. Experienced in providing administrative or project support in an education community or not-for profit environment. Importantly, you will demonstrate personal attributes that align with the University’s values.
