About the Position This role focuses on improving how the City operates by identifying and delivering practical, sustainable enhancements to business processes and service delivery. As the Business Improvement Officer, you will conduct process reviews across the organisation, working with stakeholders to identify inefficiencies, redesign workflows, and implement more effective ways of working. You will analyse business needs and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations to improve performance and outcomes, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement through consistent tools, standards, methodologies, and change initiatives. This role has a strong technical focus on business intelligence, workflow automation, and information management, particularly using Power BI, SharePoint, and Nintex. You will leverage these platforms to streamline processes, enhance reporting capability, and ensure information is accurate, accessible, and well managed across the organisation. This position is offered on a full-time basis; however, part-time arrangements may be considered. About You You’re an experienced business improvement professional with a strong understanding of how to analyse, design, and implement effective process improvements across an organisation. To be successful in this role, you will bring: Demonstrated experience delivering business improvement or process optimisation initiatives Hands-on experience with Power BI (reporting and dashboards), SharePoint (site and document management), and workflow automation tools such as Nintex Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions Confidence facilitating workshops and engaging with stakeholders at all levels Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear insights and recommendations Experience establishing improvement frameworks or supporting organisational change will also be well regarded.
