The House Parent plays a key role in supporting students in the Girls’ Boarding House, working closely with the Head of Girls’ Boarding to provide pastoral and practical in loco parentis care. We are seeking a warm, nurturing individual who can build positive relationships and support the wellbeing of boarding students. Hours of Duty This role operates during term time only, with split shifts Monday to Friday (7:00–10:30am and 2:00–6:00pm). House Parents may also be rostered on-call, including overnight, to support students as required. About You You are approachable, compassionate and confident working with adolescents. You demonstrate sound judgement, maintain confidentiality, and communicate effectively. Strong organisational and IT skills are essential, along with a current driver’s licence, First Aid certification, and relevant safeguarding training.
