We are looking for a motivated commercially focused Business Development Manager to lead sales initiatives across Western Australia. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and margin expansion within designated distribution channels. The markets serviced include, but not exclusive to are Refinish, Retail and Industrial/Mining. You will also provide technical leadership and training to a wide range of stakeholders. Increase top line sales/revenue to meet company targets within designated customer groups and/or channels within the specified territory Enhance overall business margins while developing top line sales growth Call on designated Distributors and End Users to maximise sales growth and opportunities within the specified territory/business Create and harvest long term relationships with designated customers, distributors, and business partners Working with select distributors and internal stake holders drive new business through distribution channels Train distributor and business partner representatives and staff Provide technical support for our products to distributors, end-users and business partners as required Provide commercial leadership in the development of top lines sales in both U-Pol and Business Partners with a “Trusted Advisor” business mindset Key Responsibilities: What We’re Looking For; We seek a commercially driven, results-oriented individual with a strong technical background. Qualifications; Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Trade Qualifications (Automotive Body Repair/Spray Painting) are highly desirable, as is related industry experience NACE Certification is a bonus. Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) is required; experience with SAP & Salesforce is advantageous. A track record of impressive sales results and technical competency.
