An opportunity is available for a Parts Advisor to join our long-established, family-owned business. Due to recent expansion at THT , this is a newly structured role supporting our Parts Manager, who will continue to oversee the department while also assisting the workshop team. This position plays a key role in supporting our busy parts department , ensuring our customers and workshop team receive accurate and timely parts support. An immediate start is available. About the Role Working closely with the Parts Manager, workshop team and suppliers, your responsibilities will include: Supporting and assisting customers with parts requirements Supplying parts to the workshop and working closely with mechanics to ensure jobs run efficiently Assisting with the daily operation of a busy parts department Acting as a point of contact for parts enquiries (phone, email and face-to-face) Interpreting parts for diesel, marine and industrial applications Processing daily enquiries, quotes and orders Entering and maintaining accurate data, including invoices, receivals, quotes and purchase orders Placing, tracking and receipting stock orders Inventory control, including re-stocking, monitoring stock levels and ensuring requisitions are entered correctly Picking, packing, dispatching and coordinating deliveries (local and via freight) Liaising with suppliers and dealers locally (Perth & Melbourne) and internationally (Italy) Building and maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers Assisting managers and staff with ad hoc duties as required Training will be provided in the specific tools and systems required to perform the role.
