Financial Planning Practice – Nedlands We are a growing boutique financial planning practice based in Nedlands seeking an experienced and highly organised part-time or casual Client Services & XPLAN Support Officer to support the Financial Planner in the ongoing management of client relationships, data integrity, compliance administration, and advice preparation processes. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in financial planning administration or client services who enjoys structure, systems, and supporting advisers behind the scenes to deliver a high-quality client experience. About the Role This position will work closely with the Financial Planner and assist in managing the operational and administrative side of the advice process. The role is heavily focused on: XPLAN management and file preparation Client administration and compliance support Data management and workflow organisation Preparing files for paraplanning and adviser review Maintaining strong client service standards This is not a heavily sales-focused role. It is a support and coordination position designed to help create efficiency, structure, and consistency within a growing advice practice. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update client records within XPLAN Ensure client data, file notes, fact finds, AML, TMDs, risk profiles and compliance documentation are complete and accurate Assist with implementation preparation and adviser workflow management Prepare client review documentation and meeting preparation Manage electronic filing and document control processes Liaise with superannuation funds and product providers for information gathering and research Assist in preparing files ready for internal paraplanning submission Support the adviser in managing ongoing client servicing requirements Coordinate administrative follow-ups and outstanding tasks Assist in maintaining compliant and organised client files Skills & Experience The successful candidate will ideally possess: Previous experience within a financial planning practice Strong working knowledge of XPLAN Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Understanding of compliance and file integrity requirements within financial advice Strong computer literacy and confidence using Microsoft Office Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously Professional communication skills and a client-first attitude High level of confidentiality and professionalism Highly Regarded Experience preparing files for paraplanning Knowledge of superannuation, investment platforms, and insurance administration Understanding of financial planning workflows and advice documentation Experience within boutique advisory firms or professional services environments What We Offer Flexible working arrangements School hours or reduced hours considered Supportive and collaborative environment Opportunity to grow with a developing boutique practice Long-term opportunity for the right person A professional but relaxed culture focused on relationships and quality client outcomes We are building a modern advice business centred around strong client relationships, efficiency, and high service standards, and we are looking for someone who wants to be part of that journey.
