Description THE ROLE Opportunities are now available for motivated individuals to join our team in our Linen-Uniform Room. This small department is as busy as it is important to our success. Key responsibilities of this role include: Fitting and issuing uniforms to team members Maintaining accurate records in the provision of uniforms to team members Checking uniforms for repair needs to ensure the meet Company standards Sorting and checking worn uniforms and used linen for laundering Using a washing machine to wash and dry small amounts of items as necessary Using a needle and thread to make small repairs to clothes Ensuring uniforms are positioned according to uniform room procedures Maintaining and issuing linen as required ABOUT YOU The ideal candidate for this role will: Have experience working in a similar position Have basic sewing machine skills for making minor alterations Possess excellent communication and organisational skills Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail Enjoy being on your feet and moving Be naturally personable and friendly, with the ability to communicate and collaborate across all departments Be comfortable working day and night shifts Full Australian working rights are required for this position in addition to a probity check.
