Bridge Consulting Psycholgists is seeking a casual Practice Administration Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with an interest in the healthcare industry who is looking for a position within a supportive and professional practice environment. Previous experience in psychology, allied health, or medical administration will be highly regarded. Approximately 23 hours per week across 3 days (standard hours are 8:45am-5:00pm). While the role is based across 3 days per week and regular weekly days will be established, some flexibility to assist with leave coverage is appreciated. Located in Adelaide CBD. Immediate start available. The role includes the following tasks: Warmly welcoming clients and helping them feel at ease. Answering telephones and noting/relaying important information as needed. Completing new client intakes, triaging appointments, and creating files. Making ongoing client appointments. Raising accounts, invoice processing and taking payments. Outbound follow up calls (including scheduling, checking up on no-shows and calling referrers such as lawyers and doctors). Daily maintenance of the Bridge Psych email inbox, including responding to, triaging, forwarding and noting important emails. Managing script requests including sending to pharmacies. Proof reading letters and reports, including mental health assessments. Limited client management including writing to GP’s regarding client discharge and non-attendance. Scoring and documenting client questionnaires. Researching psychological topics and creating questionnaire templates as requested by clinicians. Ensuring confidentially of all client records. Maintaining a clean workspace with housekeeping activities; mail, light office cleaning and washing up, managing office supplies and occasionally making coffee for anyone (including yourself!).
