We are currently seeking an experienced Chef to join our team in Henley Brook, full time. Working as part of a team, this position involves food preparation and presentation of meals as required whilst maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment and leading subordinate staff. Responsibilities: Ensure that the food is presented according to the guidelines set by the Head Chef Adhere to production schedules to ensure timely delivery of services. Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformance to established standards. Maintain sanitation practices and health/safety procedures Prepare and cook foods of all types, either on a regular basis or for special guests or functions. Collaborate with other personnel to plan and develop recipes and menus, taking into account such factors as seasonal availability of ingredients and the likely number of customers. Lead and supervise cooks and kitchen hands Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met. Record production and operational data on specified forms. Work as part of a team to ensure total customer satisfaction at all times. Perform any other duties within the employee's range of competence as required by management. Applicants must have a minimum 2 years' work experience as a Chef, and hold a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
