Description Civil Operator – Pipeline Construction Location: Luddenham, Sydney Employment Type: Full Time, Fixed Term Contract until end of project in November (Opportunity for potential ongoing work after this) Start Date: Immediate Start Available We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Civil Operator to join our growing Sydney team. This role involves working on major civil and pipeline projects across water, sewer, gas, or infrastructure works. About the Role You will be responsible for operating civil machinery safely and efficiently while assisting with pipeline installation and general construction activities. Key Responsibilities Operate excavators and other civil plant machinery Trenching and backfilling for pipeline installation Working around live services and underground utilities Assisting pipe crews with installation works Conducting daily pre-starts and machine maintenance checks Following site safety procedures and project requirements Working effectively within a team environment Requirements Relevant plant operating tickets/licenses Minimum [2-3] years’ experience in civil or pipeline construction Experience working around underground services White Card (mandatory) HR license (advantageous) Ability to work overtime and travel if required Strong commitment to safety and teamwork Desirable Experience Water, sewer, gas, or HDPE pipeline experience GPS machine experience Confined space and working at heights tickets Loader, skid steer, or roller tickets What We Offer Competitive hourly rates penalties Potential for Ongoing work and career progression opportunities Supportive team environment Opportunity to work on major infrastructure projects If you are motivated, safety-focused, and looking for your next opportunity in the civil construction industry, we would love to hear from you.
