This client-facing Bookkeeper role offers full-time or 80% part-time flexibility, including school-hours, compressed weeks or flexible scheduling. You will independently manage your own client portfolio across multiple industries while working closely with advisory and tax teams. The Role: Manage end-to-end bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients across diverse industries Bank, credit card and general ledger reconciliations Accounts payable, transaction processing and intercompany transfers Liaise directly with clients, suppliers, banks, landlords and external stakeholders Support month-end reporting, budgets and forecasts Assist with payroll processing, superannuation, WorkCover, Payroll Tax and PAYG obligations Prepare and support IAS/BAS compliance and ATO deadlines Assist with financial statements, tax returns, FBT and compliance support tasks Liaise with the ATO regarding lodgements, payment arrangements and compliance matters About You: 3 years of strong bookkeeping experience, ideally within public practice or professional services Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Excel Payroll and compliance support experience Experience with e-commerce platforms including Shopify, PayPal and Stripe highly regarded Exposure to BNPL platforms such as Afterpay, Sezzle or Klarna advantageous Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong attention to detail, organisation and deadline management Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team FYI experience advantageous but not essential What’s On Offer: Competitive salary package aligned to experience Flexible full-time or 80% part-time options School-hours flexibility, hybrid WFH options after probation, compressed weeks and early-finish Fridays Birthday leave, wellness initiatives, EAP and active wellbeing committee Business smart casual dress code with company polo shirts Modern Robina office Parking in building (tax-deducted tandem parking) Partner-led technical training, CPD, career development and long-term progression This opportunity offers the ideal next step for a capable Bookkeeper seeking flexibility, portfolio ownership and career longevity within one of the Gold Coast’s most respected professional services firms.
