Connect People is currently seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our high-performing client within the transport infrastructure sector. About the Role Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance and project works across critical tunnel infrastructure assets. Working closely with asset management and operational teams, you will support the effective delivery of maintenance programs while ensuring compliance, safety, and performance standards are met. Role details: • Salary up to $110K (experience dependent) super • Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm • Full time permanent contract • Based on-site in North Sydney • Ability to attend quarterly night closures (3 nights, 7:00pm – 5:00am) What your day-to-day will look like: • Plan and schedule maintenance in AIMS, generating and issuing work orders to internal teams and contractors. • Coordinate meetings (long-horizon, weekly lookahead, closure planning) and contractor engagement to manage scheduling and interface risks, including third-party works. • Monitor KPIs and conduct monthly audits to ensure performance, compliance, and adherence to plans, standards, and regulatory requirements. • Support systems and documentation: provide Maximo/AIMS training and troubleshooting, subcontractor report templates, and maintain accurate asset data, validation, and integrity. • Liaise with Asset Management and Capital Works teams; contribute to TMPs and Asset Management Plans; ensure corrective maintenance aligns with technical plans. • Deliver operations: manage closures (planning, quarterly attendance, reporting), lead Toolbox Talks, produce O&M reports/dashboards, and perform asset condition assessments with recommendations for improvement. What we’re looking for: • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or related discipline • Experience in maintenance planning within infrastructure, construction, or similar environments • Experience with asset management systems (e.g. Adulting frameworks, Maximo & ISO 55000 highly regarded) • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication & reporting skills • Advanced computer skills • Valid working rights within Australia About the Company Join a leading infrastructure services organisation operating across Australia and New Zealand.
