Your new company A wellestablished organisation operating within a largescale agribusiness and manufacturing environment is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team on a 1214 month fixedterm basis. This role is based onsite in Toowoomba and plays a key part in supporting a highvolume production and warehousing operation. Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role offers genuine business partnering exposure across operational teams, alongside core financial accounting and reporting responsibilities. Your new role Working closely with all internal teams, as well as interstate and offshore finance stakeholders, your responsibilities will include: Endtoend financial accounting for the site Monthend close, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting Oversight of AP/AR and invoice flows Business partnering with operations and production to support performance and cost control Preparation of workpapers for audit and statutory reporting Supporting compliance and reporting obligations, including yearend Contributing to process improvement initiatives within finance What you'll need to succeed Degree qualified in Finance or Business CA/CPA qualified member, or studying towards Strong financial accounting experience within manufacturing, agribusiness, commodities or industrial environments Confidence partnering with nonfinance stakeholders Experience working with JDE or similar large-scale ERP systems Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight reporting deadlines What you'll get in return Long term (12-14 months) fixed term contract initially, with possible conversion to permanent One day WFH per week once established Flexible start and finish times Modern, newly refurbished office Opportunity to work closely with operations in a highly visible role What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV to amy.mccusker@hays.com.au or call Amy McCusker at HAYS Senior Finance on 0732433078.
