Are you an Intermediate Accountant looking for a fully remote role with a modern firm that genuinely supports career development? This opportunity offers flexibility, strong mentorship, and exposure to a broad range of clients while you continue your CA/CPA journey. This Brisbane-based firm is growing and looking to add an Intermediate Accountant to their Business Services & Tax team. You’ll work remotely while being supported by experienced seniors and managers, with the opportunity to take ownership of your own client work. The Role Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts and individuals Preparation of BAS and IAS returns Assist with FBT, CGT and Division 7A calculations Liaise directly with clients and respond to queries Assist with tax planning and advisory work ATO correspondence and lodgements Work with cloud-based accounting systems (Xero and integrated apps) Support senior accountants and managers with client work About You 2–4 years experience within an Australian public practice firm Currently studying CA/CPA, just started, or part-way through Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns Strong understanding of business services and tax compliance Good communication and client-facing skills Experience with Xero or similar cloud-based software preferred Able to work independently in a remote environment Benefits Fully remote role – work from home full time $80,000 – $95,000 Super CA/CPA support and mentoring Clear progression to Senior Accountant Flexible working hours Modern, paperless and tech-driven firm Supportive and collaborative team culture Exposure to advisory and value-add work Regular team catch-ups and annual events This is a great opportunity for an Intermediate Accountant wanting flexibility, development, and long-term progression within a growing firm.
