Role Overview As a Junior or Intermediate Accountant at KellyPartners Bundall, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering technical excellence and supporting the growth of our team. Your core responsibilities include: Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs Completing BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG obligations for a diverse client base Managing payroll tax and workers compensation reconciliations Liaising with statutory authorities and providing support to clients Collaborating on process improvements and contributing to a culture of growth, accountability, and shared success Participating in team events, monthly tax workshops, and professional development sessions What You Bring You’re a proactive accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative, high‑performing environment. You bring experience from customer‑facing roles, giving you a strong service mindset, confidence in communicating with clients, and the ability to build trusted, long‑term relationships. 0-2 years’ experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field CA qualification or currently undertaking CA studies Familiarity with practice management platforms such as MYOB AE, APS, HowNow, Active Ledger, Xero, and QuickBooks - or a strong aptitude for learning new systems Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organisational skills A client-first mindset and commitment to delivering quality service Proven ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and take initiative A long-term vision to grow and contribute meaningfully to the team Video
