Acting as one of the first points of contact for many future students, this role helps individuals explore their options, understand pathways and make confident decisions about their education journey. Youll be working across our telephony, digital and offline channels, youll support students through the enquiry, application and enroll stages, ensuring they receive clear advice, timely follow-ups and a welcoming experience at every interaction. Operating with a strong degree of judgement and initiative, the role plays an important part in shaping a positive first impression of UNE and supporting prospective students to take the next step toward enrolment. The Future Student Advisor works closely with Faculties, Marketing and Student Journey teams to ensure information is accurate, communication is consistent and future students experience a seamless transition from enquiry to application. About you To be successful in this role, you will bring strong customer service and advisory capability, with the ability to provide accurate, timely and consistent information to a diverse range of people (students, parents, schools and the wider community). You will be comfortable managing priorities, maintaining high-quality records and case notes in relevant systems, and applying policies and procedures with sound judgement escalating non-routine matters when required. You will also demonstrate confidence working with digital tools and systems, and readiness to use AI and digital technology in the workplace to support service delivery and continuous improvement. About the Faculty/School/Department The Future Students and Engagement Department at the University of New England (UNE) oversees all external-facing functions at UNE with a comprehensive, integrated marketing strategy. This includes marketing, advancement, alumni office, social media, and corporate communications and events. The department focuses on engaging with industry partners, alumni, philanthropic supporters, governments and communities, whilst also attracting and connecting with prospective students. The team effectively showcases UNEs offerings, builds relationships with key stakeholders, and fosters a strong, connected community.
