This is a hands-on, rewarding role where your clinical expertise and empathy will directly contribute to improving health outcomes and restoring dignity for those in need. Your Responsibility Deliver holistic clinical care, including detox support, for clients experiencing substance dependence, mental health challenges and homelessness Partner with the Freeman House team on client intake, assessments and care planning Coordinate access to essential health services including GP, psychiatry, podiatry and allied health Act as a central point of communication between medical practitioners, pharmacies and support staff Support clients with complex and sometimes challenging behaviours with professionalism and care Mentor and guide medication assistance staff Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with professional standards You Will Need Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration Minimum 2 years of clinical experience Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with diverse clients and stakeholders Genuine passion for working with people experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges and substance dependence Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Understanding of alcohol and other drug treatment Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development Confident using clinical systems and basic technology Apply Now If this sounds like you, don’t wait - apply now , we are interviewing applications as we receive them.
