Position Description: You will play a key role in managing the accounts receivable function, ensuring the timely and accurate collection of outstanding monies while maintaining strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external clients. Your responsibilities will include: • Managing the debtor’s ledger, including regular follow-ups on outstanding accounts • Contacting customers to confirm payment timelines and resolve invoice queries • Monthly reconciliation of key accounts to ensure accuracy and readiness for payment • Processing credits, refunds, and account adjustments where required • Handling customer queries and liaising with internal teams to resolve discrepancies • Processing credit applications, including trade reference checks and credit risk assessments • Setting up new customer accounts and maintaining accurate account records • Generating, printing, and distributing weekly and monthly invoices • Allocating and receipting EFT and cheque payments • Bank and cashbook reconciliations, including branch cash handling discrepancies • Supporting Accounts Payable and broader finance team as required • Attending finance and credit meetings and contributing to process improvements Ideal Candidate: The successful applicant will have the following skills & attributes: • Demonstrated experience in an Accounts Receivable role • Strong understanding of debtor management and credit control processes • Proven reconciliation skills with high attention to detail • Experience handling customer queries and managing stakeholder relationships • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems (ERP exposure advantageous) • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team • Strong communication skills and a professional approach • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Additional Benefits: • Supportive and inclusive team culture • Annual bonus incentive • Ongoing training and development opportunities • Convenient office location • Competitive salary package aligned with experience with annual pay review How to Apply: To apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
