Description Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including providing technical accounting advice to all areas of the Group as required. Assist with coordination of external audit processes alongside the Finance team and external stakeholders. Prepare accurate and timely month end, covering intercompany processes, journals, and robust reconciliations. Lead the corporate insurance renewal process, including coordination with brokers, internal stakeholders, and senior management. Provide insurance and risk-related financial advice to management, supporting governance, compliance, and decision-making. Ensure accurate financial accounting and reporting of insurance costs, provisions, and recoveries. Review and manage compliance, regulatory requirements, internal controls, accounting policies and procedures. Apply knowledge and core accounting concepts to develop insights to assist in business growth and/or cost saving. Develop and document relevant processes and procedures. Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across all areas of the Group. Profile A successful Senior Corporate Accountant should have: A degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline. Professional certification such as CPA or CA. Previous experience working in a Big 4 or Mid Tier accounting firm is desirable. Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with Australian accounting standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Job Offer Competitive salary package ranging from $160,000 to $180,000 super bonus.
