About the program: AIR6500 is the RAAF’s $3 billion program to develop a joint air battle management system that builds on the capabilities offered by Next Generation sensor and command and control systems. AIR6500 will create a fully networked ‘system of systems’ that synchronises air and missile defence operations in joint and coalition environments, maximising situational awareness and enhancing the speed of decision making across the battlespace. Your responsibilities will include: We are seeking an experienced Logistics Support Analysis Lead to join the AIR6500 team, supporting the delivery of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) activities within an Agile program environment. In this role, you will work closely with the ILS Lead and Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) Team, to: Plan and lead the team to execute Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) work packages within the Program’s Agile framework. Develop technical LSA studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts. Lead and Mentor the team tasked to capture LSA data in associated templates and databases. Develop and compile plans, studies and reports as required contractually. Lead workshops with internal and external stakeholders to define and tailor the LSA program. Ensure compliance with standards, certification and assurance to support system design certification. Serve as SME on LSA activities, providing advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders. About you: You are an experienced LSA professional who has a deep knowledge of stakeholder management and ability to identify, analyse, select, document and design for all LSA requirements. You bring: Deep knowledge of ILS process, procedures and the overall engineering product lifecycle. Defence Industry Project delivery experience including, specialist technical application of Integrated Logistics Support including Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) tasks, sparing, maintenance support, training and documentation to engineering projects. Extensive experience with supportability analysis, MRD, and Repairable Item Management. Leadership of large teams to deliver successful outcomes. Effective technical guidance, mentoring and training to other employees. Deep understanding of working with and leading contractual processes and deliverables. Desirable : Knowledge of adjacent ILS disciplines including training and publications. Experience using tools such as MILIS/ERP, CAMM2, OPUS10, Eagle or similar logistics/reliability systems. Experience in Agile development application.
