These roles offer the opportunity to work across Maritime programs contributing to design, integration and delivery of complex naval combat systems, including the coordination of sensors, weapons, communications, and command systems to function as a cohesive network. Your responsibilities will include: As a Combat Systems Technician you’ll maintain, configure, and troubleshoot Naval Combat Systems (CS) equipment in accordance with approved engineering documentation and configuration baselines., keeping them ready for critical testing and operations on-board maritime platforms during ship test programs. Possible Opportunity to travel for Combat Systems training About you: Although experience in Aegis Combat System is desirable, transferable skills in other relevant Combat Systems will be highly regarded. Certificate III in electronics, mechatronics, electrical/computer/communications engineering, or equivalent experience Strong fault detection, repair, and preventative maintenance skills Technical aptitude, ability to read manuals/specs, and adapt to evolving tech Strong understanding of networking protocols, radar systems, sensor or sonar systems, radio/communications or data transmission, and data management. Familiarity with ship test programs and land-based/training site operations is advantageous. Desirable: Experience with networked systems, diagnostics, and structured maintenance planning.
