Golden Waves Homes Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Professional Painter to join our growing team. We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual with strong hands-on experience in painting and decorating across residential and construction projects. Key Requirements: Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as a painter Experience working in both residential and construction environments Strong knowledge of oil-based and water-based enamel applications Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship Key Responsibilities: Erect scaffolding and ladders, and place drop sheets to protect surrounding areas from paint splatter Prepare surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, repairing woodwork, filling cracks and holes, and smoothing and sealing surfaces Select and prepare paints to required colours by mixing pigments, oils, and thinning and drying additives Apply paints, varnishes, and stains using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment Hang wallpaper, ensuring accurate pattern matching and neat finishing Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas Carry out minor repairs such as fixing windows and replacing glass in wooden and metal frames Perform basic wall and floor tiling repairs when required Salary: Competitive annual salary based on experience and in line with industry standards.
