The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance with food safety standards. Salary: $77,064 per annum Superannuation Location: Melton, VIC 3337 Key Responsibilities: Plan menus and estimate food and labor costs in consultation with management Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard, ensuring consistency and presentation Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation Demonstrate techniques and advise kitchen staff on cooking procedures Supervise kitchen operations and coordinate activities of cooks and kitchen staff Ensure all food preparation complies with hygiene and food safety regulations Manage stock levels, order supplies, and control food costs Train and mentor kitchen staff where required Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment Requirements: Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery (Certificate IV or equivalent) Relevant experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage kitchen workflow Please include a current resume and supporting documents to your application.
