About the role As Store Manager, you’ll lead the day‑to‑day operations, inspire a high‑performing team, and create a stand-out store culture. You’ll build team capability to exceed customer expectations while driving results and store performance. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll influence positive outcomes for customers, the team, and the business. You will report to the Area Manager and be responsible for: Health & Safety: Lead a safety work culture by promoting safe work practices, ensuring compliance, reporting risks promptly, and engaging the team in safety programs. Financial & Administration: Deliver strong store performance by managing budgets, margins, rostering and inventory, using scorecards and UKG to optimise results and minimise loss. Leadership: Lead through the Autobarn values, inspiring an inclusive, high‑performing team while driving sales growth, operational excellence and customer experience. Store Standards: Ensure consistent execution of retail processes, VMG compliance, promotional accuracy and presentation standards that enhance the customer experience. Team & Culture: Build a skilled, passionate team by recruiting for values, coaching performance, developing capability and driving service excellence. Who are we looking for? The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience as a Store Manager or senior retail leader, ideally within automotive, specialty, or large-format retail Strong people leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop high‑performing teams A sales‑driven mindset with the capability to deliver financial results and KPI’s Exceptional customer service and communication skills A values‑led, collaborative, and adaptable approach, with the ability to lead change and build strong customer and retail relationships Commitment to workplace health & safety, compliance, and risk management practices A current Australian driver’s licence and valid work rights What’s in it for you?
