About the role We're looking for an experienced 5-8T Excavator Operator to start immediately on a civil infrastructure project in Donnybrook. You'll be operating a small excavator supporting a crew installing underground services and conduits, assisting with trenching, service installation and backfilling. This is a short term job starting asap, with steady hours across the week. Could be suited to an Operator between projects. What you'll do Operate a 5-8 tonne excavator supporting civil services works Dig and trim trenches for underground services and conduits Assist with backfilling and reinstatement once services are installed Work alongside pipelayers and labourers to keep the job moving safely Tickets & experience you'll need Excavator ticket / RII competency Construction White Card Drivers licence and reliable transport Full Australian working rights Demonstrated experience operating 5-8T excavators on civil infrastructure sites Project details Location: Donnybrook VIC 3064 Start: ASAP Duration: Short term, could suit a fill in operator between projects Rate: $47.50 per hour penalties super About the project You'll be working with a civil infrastructure contractor delivering road and services works across Melbourne, supporting crews installing underground services on active construction sites.
