This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to build deep exposure to ASX company Environmental, Social, and Governance issues and institutional investor stewardship, working directly with asset owners and senior company leaders. About ACSI Established in 2001, ACSI provides a strong, independent voice on financially material environmental, social and governance issues. Their members are Australian and international asset owners and institutional investors with more than $1.9 trillion in funds under management. The position Reporting to the Manager, Engagement, you will support ACSI’s engagement program and research agenda, contributing to measurable improvements in corporate governance and sustainability practices across the ASX-listed companies. This is a hands-on, all-rounder role, ideal for someone with around 2 years’ relevant experience who is keen to develop across Environmental, Social, and Governance research, proxy voting, company engagement and policy work. Key responsibilities Conduct governance research on ASX-listed companies, including proxy voting analysis Support and participate in company engagements with executives and directors, alongside ACSI members Assist in setting engagement priorities and tracking engagement outcomes Contribute to member communications, engagement reports and briefing materials Support thematic research, thought leadership and policy submissions aligned to ACSI’s strategic priorities Collaborate closely with colleagues across stewardship, research and communications About you A tertiary qualification in either commerce, finance, law, economics or a related discipline 2 years’ post-graduate and a genuine interest in corporate governance The ability to link Environmental, Social, and Governance issues to financial risks and opportunities Strong analytical skills and the ability to produce clear, well-structured written analysis Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders in a professional, constructive manner A collaborative mindset and comfort working in a small, purpose-driven organisation Why join ACSI?
