This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Managed Funds Services within Perpetual Corporate Trust (PCT) a specialist business within the Perpetual Group. PCT, is a leading fiduciary, custody, digital and markets business. With operations across Australia and Singapore, we support domestic and global managed funds, banking and financial services organisations, government bodies and sovereign wealth funds, and not-for-profits. About the Role Reporting to the Senior Manager, Investment Management and Fund Reporting, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of fund reporting activity in compliance with relevant fund obligations; and enabling and supporting the completion of other fund related activity, by working with our clients, external service providers, audit firms and internal teams. This is a stand alone manager role operating as an individual contributor with no people management responsibility. Key Responsibilities Prepare and co-ordinate the delivery of required fund reporting activity, including but not limited to Full and Half Year Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, Activity Statements and Distribution Calculations Support internal teams in delivering service excellence Prepare for, attend, and present at Trustee/RE Board meetings Maintain and enhance Perpetual’s brand in the market through superior expertise Deliver operational excellence and continuous improvement Involvement in projects Keep up to date with developments in the reporting standards and communicate where appropriate Oversee and coordinate the production and review of annual regulatory reporting Pro-actively contribute to the development a coordinated and integrated service approach across Managed Funds Services to better identify efficiencies and commercial opportunities to better service our clients. About you We’re interested in hearing from people who have: Tertiary qualifications in Accounting is highly desirable Minimum 3 years’ experience working with Managed Funds in an operational, accounting or oversight capacity with appropriate working experience with respect to Managed Funds and Financial Statements Working experience with Audit and Financial Statements highly beneficial Working knowledge of the Managed Funds industry (Custody, Investment Administration, Registry, Audit, Investment Operations) and operational experience with Managed Investment Schemes highly regarded High attention to detail, excellent communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders as part of a team.
