This is a rare opportunity to join a high-growth automotive group as their next Group Financial Controller , based in Adelaide. With expansion in recent years and strong momentum for further growth, this is a senior leadership role where you’ll be more than just a numbers person, you’ll be a key advisor to the business owner, supporting both strategic direction and operational execution. You’ll lead a capable finance and admin team, manage the full finance function, and be hands-on with business decisions including potential acquisitions. The role will also include support with broader financial matters for outside of the core business. We’re looking for a commercially-minded Financial Controller who can bring strong leadership, structure, and financial insight to a growing and evolving operation. What You’ll Do: Lead the finance function across a multi-site automotive group Manage and mentor the finance/admin team Oversee reporting, compliance, budgeting and financial performance Provide strategic insight on acquisitions and business scalability Work closely with ownership and external advisors What We’re Looking For: Proven financial leadership experience within the automotive environment Strong commercial acumen and the ability to operate both strategically and hands-on CPA/CA qualifications ideal but not essential with strong track record Excellent communication and team management skills Experience with dealership systems advantageous but not mandatory The Offer: $180k–$220k vehicle performance incentives Senior-level visibility and influence in a growing business Long-term opportunity with potential for expanded leadership scope If you're ready to step into a pivotal financial role with real commercial impact, we’d love to hear from you.
