The Deafness Centre is seeking an administration officer to join a friendly and busy team who support children with permanent hearing loss and their families. This is a part-time role (18 hours per week) in an outpatient service. Preferred days of work are Wednesday and Thursday and either Monday or Tuesday What You'll Be Doing The Deafness Centre is a multidisciplinary outpatient service for children with permanent hearing loss and their families. The department also coordinates the Microtia Clinic which is held in conjunction with the ENT and Plastic Surgery Departments. The primary purpose of this position will be to provide administrative and other services to the Department. This includes assisting the team in their clinical roles by scheduling appointments, answering and responding to telephone enquiries, managing referrals, processing invoices, bulk billing, updating and maintaining patient information via various databases. There will also be a requirement to coordinate clinics through the patient scheduling system, as well as organising patient files that are required for the medical teams, Healthroster rostering template/s extraction and data entry for the department staff members.
