The successful candidate will work closely with Partners, Special Counsel and other Solicitors in the team. We are looking for a commercially astute and technically solid Associate/Senior Associate experienced in CTP. It is a great opportunity to further your career.You will be required to prepare the whole gamut of submissions to the Personal Injury Commission (PIC) which arise in CTP Statutory Benefits and Common Law claims, including advising on Certificates and grounds for Review and preparing those Applications or Replies. You will also have the conduct of some Common Law claims under the direct supervision of a partner. These require the usual advices and setting of reserves, correspondence with the other side and preparing the claim for assessment. You will be required to complete client report templates. The Insurance team offers highly responsive legal services for insurers, self-insurers, statutory authorities and corporations, one that is both results driven and highly cost efficient. We have developed a strong reputation in the Australian insurance industry and are well positioned to provide legal advice in all insurance matters throughout Australia. WHAT YOU BRING Our ideal candidate will have 3 years post admission experience in CTP. This position is suited to a team player who is highly organized and motivated, with a collaborative work ethic. You will also have outstanding client management skills and dedication to providing excellent service to the clients.
