Summary: We are seeking an experienced Folder Operator to join our manufacturing team in Geelong. This permanent, full-time position is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of our folding machinery, contributing to the overall productivity and quality of our production processes. Responsibilities: Operate folder machine to process steel coil into building products in accordance with customer specifications Operate machine to quality and safety standards Ensure all material is appropriately labelled Communicate directly with supervisor/manager regarding safety, quality or production issues Ensure work area is maintained in a clean and safe manner Qualifications: Experience in operating a Slitter/Folder Machine, or similar machinery Ability to work well as part of a team Building product knowledge or steel handling experience is desirable Conditions & Benefits Full-time day shift permanent position 6am – 2pm with optional overtime Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week Excellent career opportunity with growth potential Join a dynamic achievement driven team Strong company, strong future About the company Apex Building Products is part of Apex Steel Group, one of Australia's largest privately owned steel manufacturers & distributors.
