About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Livestock Manager to oversee poultry operations and ensure optimal bird health, welfare, and production performance. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach, and a passion for maintaining high animal welfare and biosecurity standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily poultry farm operations Manage bird health, nutrition, and welfare programs Monitor production performance, feed conversion, and mortality rates Implement and maintain strict biosecurity procedures Supervise and train farm staff Coordinate with veterinarians, nutritionists, and suppliers Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality assurance standards Maintain accurate production and compliance records About You Proven experience in poultry or intensive livestock management Strong understanding of poultry health, welfare, and nutrition Experience leading and supervising teams Knowledge of biosecurity and WHS requirements Ability to analyse production data and implement improvements Excellent communication and organisational skills Relevant agricultural qualification (preferred but not essential) What We Offer Competitive salary package (based on experience) Ongoing training and professional development Supportive team environment Opportunity to grow within a progressive agricultural business Relocation assistance (if applicable)
