About Us: Quarry & Mining Manufacture (QMM), a subsidiary of Tasmea Limited, delivers expert design, manufacture, fabrication, and maintenance services to sectors including construction materials (concrete, quarrying, cement, asphalt), mining, minerals, infrastructure, recycling, and metal refining. The Opportunity: We are currently seeking skilled Boilermakers to join our growing team on a full-time and/or casual basis. These roles offer a mix of workshop and site-based projects, providing variety, a strong team environment, and regular overtime opportunities — including 10-12 hour days, six days a week. About the Role: You'll be fabricating and assembling metal components—such as frames, chutes, pipework, and structural steel—while maintaining a strong focus on quality, precision, and safety. The role suits individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a collaborative, safety-first culture. Key Responsibilities: • Read and interpret engineering drawings • Cut, shape, and weld metal components using hand and power tools • MIG and Stick welding to a high standard • Fabricate and assemble steel structures in workshop or site environments • Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications • Maintain a clean and efficient workspace • Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a positive safety culture • Work closely with supervisors to meet project deadlines and production targets What You’ll Need: • Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent) • Proven experience in fabrication and welding • Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately • Confined Space & Working at Heights (within 2 years) or willingness to obtain • EWP, Scissor Lift, and Boom Lift tickets (desirable) • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices Note: All applicants must pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
