The role As a Senior Project Manager at Adbri, you will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of complex, high‑value capital projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, on budget and aligned with strategic priorities. Working with multidisciplinary teams and senior leaders, you will drive project performance, strengthen governance, and lift project management capability across the organisation. This role is located in Birkenhead, South Australia, there will be some intrastate travel required. Responsibilities Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of major brownfield and greenfield capital projects, ensuring safe, on‑time and on‑budget outcomes. Manage all project phases and governance requirements, including Project Execution Plans, risk registers and controls across scope, schedule and cost. Oversee contract management from development to commercial closeout, ensuring strong commercial, financial and risk discipline. Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders, fostering alignment, collaboration and shared accountability. Drive continuous improvement by strengthening PMO processes, governance frameworks and organisational project management maturity. What you will need to succeed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Civil or related discipline), plus postgraduate or recognised project management certification. Extensive senior‑level experience delivering complex capital projects up to $100m. Proven leadership across the full project life-cycle in industrial or operational environments. Strong capability in project controls, commercial management, contracts and risk. Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders and leading multidisciplinary teams.
