The successful candidate will display strong ethics, a client-centric and individualised approach to each and every matter, a strong background in family law, attention to detail, a friendly, approachable, hard-working and professional attitude, and the willingness to work both autonomously and collaboratively. What you'll be doing Providing advice to clients on a range of family law matters, including divorce, child arrangements, relocation cases, property settlements, child support, spousal maintenance and Intervention Orders Preparing Court documents, including Application for Consent Orders, applications/responses, affidavits, financial statements, case outlines Appearing in Court and/or briefing Counsel Appearing at mediations, alternative dispute resolution conferences, conciliation conferences and/or briefing Counsel Liaising with various experts, including property valuers, business valuers, family report writers What we're looking for A valid Victorian practising certificate Admission to the High Court of Australia 2 years experience in family law, with strong experience in property settlements, parenting matters Excellent drafting skills with an attention to detail Commercially-minded Strong negotiation skills Professional and personalised client skills Highly knowledgeable with regard to family law legislation, cases and Court procedures Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships within your team and within the wider family law community Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively Excellent organisational and time management skills Ability to maintain strong relationships with clients Ability to work at times remotely/virtually but maintain communication with the team Your application Your application will include the following questions: How many years' experience do you have as a Family Lawyer?
