We are looking for skilled trade person who is going to be responsible for assembling and installing prefabricated light gauge steel wall frames and roof trusses on construction sites. They ensure structural accuracy, alignment, and compliance with engineering drawings and Australian building standards. Key Responsibilities Install prefabricated light gauge steel wall frames, and roof trusses Read and interpret structural drawings and shop drawings Set out frames according to site measurements and plans Fix frames using appropriate anchors, bolts, screws, and fixings Ensure plumb, level, and square alignment of structures Install bracing, tie-down systems, and structural connections Coordinate with crane operators during frame lifting and positioning Install wall wrap, sarking, and basic cladding support components Follow WHS requirements and safe work procedures Inspect and rectify defects before handover Required Skills & Experience Experience in light gauge steel framing or modular construction Ability to read technical construction drawings Knowledge of structural tie-down systems and wind load requirements Experience using power tools and fixing systems White Card Forklift, Telehandler licence Working Conditions Outdoor construction sites together with warehouse operations to prepare easier installation on site Working at heights Handling of steel frames with Telehandler Our company is offering a great opportunity to apply your skills and learn new construction techniques Pay: $75,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
