About the role We are seeking two trade-qualified Welder/Fabricators to join our Pinjarra workshop team. This is a hands-on workshop role suited to experienced Boilermakers, Metal Fabricators or Welders who take pride in producing accurate fabrication work and high-quality welds in a structured, safety-driven environment. You’ll work alongside our Welding & Fabrication Leading Hand, robotic welding operators, engineers and mechanical assembly teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently and to specification. If you can read drawings confidently, set up your own jobs and produce clean welds — we want to hear from you. What You’ll Be Doing On a typical day, you’ll be: Reading workshop drawings and setting up your own jobs Measuring, cutting and preparing steel for fabrication Performing MIG, TIG and Stick welding to specification Tacking, fitting and aligning components before final weld-out Grinding and finishing welds so they’re clean and compliant Assembling fabricated parts using bolts, rivets or other mechanical methods where required Checking your own welds for quality, penetration and accuracy You’ll also: Load and unload components into robotic welding cells Tack and prepare parts for robotic weld runs Inspect completed robotic welds before they move to the next stage Work closely with the fabrication and mechanical teams to keep workflow moving We’re looking for someone who can work independently, manage their own time and maintain steady productivity without compromising on quality or safety. What We’re Looking For Mandatory Requirements: Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication (or equivalent) Trade-qualified Welder, Fabricator, or Boilermaker Current C Class Driver’s Licence High Risk Licences – LF, EWP Confined Space & Working at Heights Tickets Advantages: LR/MR Licence highly regarded Experience Minimum 2 years’ workshop fabrication or welding experience Strong proficiency in MIG, TIG and Stick welding Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings Experience in heavy industrial or fabrication workshop environments Exposure to robotic welding environments (advantageous but not essential) You’ll Be Successful If You: Take pride in clean, accurate welds and fabrication work Work well independently and within a team Understand production deadlines and workshop workflow Have a strong safety-first mindset Are reliable, punctual and proactive Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail Why Join Us?
