This role is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining production schedules to ensure the timely processing and supply of seafood products in line with sales orders, inventory levels, and operational capacity. You’ll play a key part in optimising production efficiency, minimising waste, and supporting end-to-end supply chain planning. Location: Processing facility in Canning Vale, WA Hours: 38 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 per annum Superannuation Key Responsibilities Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity. Coordinate with Purchasing, Sales, QA, Processing, and Dispatch teams to ensure seamless operations. Schedule production runs to meet customer delivery deadlines while optimising labour, equipment, and storage. Monitor work orders, yields, and throughput, adjusting plans for variances or supply disruptions. Analyse production data to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate records of schedules, order changes, and material usage. Support improvements in inventory control, waste reduction, and overall operational efficiency. Communicate daily updates and priorities to Production Supervisors and relevant stakeholders. About You 3 years’ experience in production planning or scheduling within seafood, FMCG, or food manufacturing. Relevant degree in Production Planning, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or similar. Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food industry compliance standards. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production planning systems. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
