About the role Bacena Capital is seeking an experienced and ambitious Accounting/Admin to join our growing team in our Surfers Paradise office. This full-time role will be responsible for providing administrative support to our client services team, ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day operations. What you'll be doing Preparing Balance Sheet Preparing P&L Providing general administrative support as required Account Payable & Account Receivable Familiar with Xero Abilities to do Bookkeeping, account reconciliations and tax return preparation. Preparation for BAS Lodgement Maintain general ledger and perform journal entries Consolidation Handling reception duties and greeting clients in a professional manner Providing administrative support to the client services team, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and organising travel arrangements Maintaining electronic and physical filing systems Assisting with the preparation of client reports and presentations Ordering and managing office supplies This is a hybrid role covering accounting/finance support, administrative duties, and personal assistant responsibilities. What we're looking for At least 2 years of experience in an Accounting or client services role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and colleagues at all levels Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint A professional and customer-focused attitude Abilities to do Balance Sheet, P&L, Bookkeeping, account reconciliations, consolidation and tax return preparation.
