About the Role This role will play a key part in supporting financial management across multiple school locations. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-growing organisation. We are looking for someone to start at the beginning of Term 2 (April 20, 2026) Your responsibilities will include: Preparation and lodgement of BAS reporting Assisting with budget preparation and cashflow forecasting Month-end reporting, including: Balance sheet reconciliations P&L variance analysis Supporting financial reporting across multiple schools/entities Assisting with compliance, audit preparation, and internal controls Contributing to process improvement initiatives as the business grows About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline While not mandatory, a relevant accounting qualification or studying towards a CPA or CA designation would be well regarded 2 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to work independently and manage deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with Xero and/or MYOB Acumatica highly desirable Intermediate to advanced Excel skills For any further questions, please email msa.qld.edu.au
