THE ROLE Applications are sought from experienced Contracts Specialists to join the team at Ora Banda. The Contracts Specialist is responsible for developing efficient, well planned and cost effective management/administration of contracts and procurement activities for Ora Banda Mining Limited. OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the full contract lifecycle for mining and construction projects, from tender through close-out. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and client obligations to ensure cost efficient contract management. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and supplier agreements and interpret and administer contract terms and conditions. Support commercial, legal, and project teams in mitigating contractual risk and maximising commercial outcomes. Support negotiation and resolution of disputes with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Stakeholder Engagement - liaise with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers and contractors. Experience in drafting and review of letters, variations, and scope of work documents. ABOUT YOU To be considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience: Degree qualified in Engineering, Commerce, or Legal discipline (desirable). Minimum of 5 years contract administration experience, within the Mining, Civil or Major Construction. Extensive contract management experience with an in-depth understanding of commercial, financial and advanced contracting concepts. Familiarity with specific products and requirements for plant processing operations and mine site operations. High attention to detail and analytical capability Ability to manage multiple contracts across concurrent projects Proactive and solution based with strong negotiation and commercial acumen Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong stakeholder management skills Your motivation: We are looking for people who want to make a difference, love to challenge themselves and others to do better and pursue solutions with intent.
