The Opportunity CSR are looking for an experienced Commercial Sales Manager to lead our high‑performing regional team across WA, SA and NT. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving commercial growth, strengthening strategic customer relationships, and shaping the future direction of our sales organisation. As the Commercial Sales Manager, you'll lead a multidisciplinary team across multiple sites, champion strategic pursuits, and deliver measurable commercial value through strong execution, data‑driven decision making, and deep customer engagement. Key Responsibilities Drive regional sales and margin growth through strategic planning, retention, and targeted new business development.Lead and develop a high‑performing, multi‑site sales team with clear expectations, regular 1:1s, and consistent performance management.Prepare and manage regional sales budgets, resource allocation, and commercial planning to maximise ROI.Build strong internal partnerships to influence competitive positioning, innovation, sustainability initiatives, and product/technology advancements.Use data analytics to assess market opportunities, customer value, and financial performance to inform commercial decisions.Own strategic customer relationships, prepare proposals, negotiate complex contracts, and close high‑value deals.Oversee execution of sales and marketing plans including consultative selling, pricing strategies, and mitigation of product cannibalisation.Monitor and report team performance against sales targets, CRM utilisation and agreed sales processes.Represent CSR at industry events and association forums to expand market presence and insights.Champion continuous improvement, driving innovation through national initiatives, marketing campaigns, and new product development.Ensure compliance with all company policies, legal requirements and lead safety and environmental standards across sites. About You Minimum 10 years' sales management experience, preferably in the building or construction products sector, with proven success leading a high‑performing sales team.Strong leadership capability across recruitment, development, engagement and performance management.Highly customer‑centric, with a track record of managing strategic, high‑value customer relationships.Skilled in leveraging data analytics to drive insights and commercial optimisation.Solutions‑oriented mindset, with strong consultative selling capabilities.Commercially savvy with strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and experience managing P&Ls.Demonstrated success in complex negotiations and contract management.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.Experience with New Product Development (NPD) and commercialising new offerings is advantageous.Tech‑savvy, with experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office tools.
