Job details $55.30/hour Travel ASAP start Multiple locations About Our Client: Our client is a major Australian infrastructure services company that plays a key role in designing, building, operating and maintaining essential utility networks across the country. Their utilities division works with leading water, electricity, gas and industrial clients to deliver asset engineering, construction, maintenance, meter services, compliance and operations for critical utility infrastructure such as pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs and treatment plants. What You Will Be Doing: As a Mechanical Fitter you will be responsible to perform routine, preventive and reactive maintenance on water and wastewater treatment facilities. The role also includes delivering small minor works projects and contributing to the ongoing improvement of critical infrastructure operations within the region. You will be required to work Monday Friday commencing 6:30am working 9-10 hour days. Your core duties will include; Fault finding Equipment repair Installation Commissioning, and decommissioning of assets and plant systems. Provide technical support to engineers and operational teams, assist with scoping and estimating works, and ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely and efficiently. What You Will Need: Current Drivers Licence. Experience on wastewater treatment plants and all equipment located within the plant (Highly desirable) Trade Certificate in a relevant mechanical discipline Experience in the Water industry or similar industry (advantageous) National Licence to perform High Risk work (desirable) Willingness to upskill and undertake additional training for ongoing development Whats in it for you?
