To support the expanding fleet and operational requirements, they are seeking a skilled and motivated Truck Driver and Diesel Motor Mechanic to join our team. Roles & Responsibilities of Truck Driver: Uphold knowledge of safety practices, policies, and procedures related to loading and unloading operations. Assess materials’ weight and volume before transportation. Safe operation of truck while transporting materials to and from sites/warehouses or other designated locations. Loading and unloading of materials competently with the help of mechanisms installed on the truck or other safe means. Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of truck and other company equipment at all times. Parking truck in safe and secure position while loading and unloading and when not in use. Oversee the loading process to ensure that goods are stowed securely within the truck's bed. Assessment and maintenance of loading documents, including bills of loading, delivery orders, or manifests, to ensure accuracy and completeness before departing from the loading site. Ensure the working condition of the truck with thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, which include checking tires, brakes, lights, signals, mirrors, fluids, and other essential components. Skills and Experience: The candidate must hold the relevant License(s). Must have a clean driving history. Relevant qualification required. A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required. Salary - $70,000 - $85,000 per annum plus superannuation Roles & Responsibilities of Diesel Motor Mechanic: Testing and adjusting repaired systems to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records for fleet vehicles and equipment. Inspecting vehicles to identify potential mechanical issues and ensuring compliance with safety and roadworthiness standards. Ensuring workshop tools, machinery, and diagnostic equipment are used and maintained appropriately. Following workplace health and safety procedures while performing mechanical tasks. Diagnosing mechanical faults and malfunctions in diesel engines, heavy vehicles, and related systems using diagnostic equipment. Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension systems, and steering components. Dismantling, inspecting, repairing, and replacing defective engine parts and components. Conducting routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication of engine components. Skills and Experience: Certificate IV qualification in a relevant field is essential. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is required. A motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong drive to excel. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
