We are partnering with a well-established engineering and manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Applications Engineer into a pivotal technical-commercial role. This position sits at the intersection of sales, product development and project delivery, with genuine influence over how products are positioned, bid, and evolved in the market. You will take ownership of the technical application and bid process for a specialist mechanical equipment portfolio, working closely with sales teams on must-win opportunities and ensuring proposals are technically robust, commercially competitive, and aligned with customer needs. Beyond pre-sales, you’ll play a key role in product improvement, new product development, and long-term product roadmapping, helping the business maintain its market-leading position. This role suits an engineer who enjoys customer interaction, strategic thinking, and seeing products progress from concept through to delivery and aftermarket growth.
