The Opportunity We're seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead our team on key projects for Western Power Regans Ford (Clean Energy Link). This isn't just a job; it's a chance to be at the heart of a major expansions, overseeing key electrical work that will shape the project's success. You'll be the one ensuring every wire, every connection, and every installation meets our unwavering standards for safety and quality. The suitable candidate will demonstrate strong leadership in managing the installation, commissioning of electrical infrastructure across transmission and distribution environments, predominately terminal stations. Your Role and Responsibilities: HV Primary Plant Installation: Proven expertise in supervising the installation of HV primary plant equipment such as power transformers, circuit breakers, isolators, instrument transformers, and busbars. Ensures quality control, compliance with design specifications, and safe work practices throughout the installation process. Protection Systems: Skilled in configuring, testing, and maintaining protection relays and schemes (e.g., differential, distance, overcurrent) to safeguard assets and ensure system reliability. SCADA & Communications: Experienced in SCADA system integration, RTU setup, and telemetry for real-time monitoring and control. Strong understanding of communication protocols, fiber optics, and network infrastructure. LV Systems: Competent in managing low voltage installations including distribution boards, control panels, and auxiliary systems, with a focus on operational safety and regulatory compliance. Project Supervision: Leads multidisciplinary teams, coordinates with stakeholders, and ensures timely delivery of works within budget and safety parameters. Safety & Compliance: Deep knowledge of electrical standards (e.g., AS/NZS), isolation procedures, and risk mitigation strategies in high-voltage environments.
