The Role The purpose of this role is to support the establishment of BG&E Minerals and its growth into the Mining and Minerals sector within Queensland by assuming a range or responsibilities such as: What to expect day to day: Undertake civil design requirements on various projects including but not limited to road design, earthworks, carparks, paths, intersections, drainage, traffic management and grade separated interchanges. Deliver civil design model outputs to the requirements of clients, drafters and designers. Delivery quality and accurate model outputs in accordance with Civil standards and project requirements. About You You will be a key contributor within BG&E Minerals’ Civil team where you’ll apply your expertise across a range of projects. Working knowledge and understanding of Austroads, Australian Standards and Road Authority requirements to meet the relevant to road geometry design. Be passionate about learning and seek feedback to ensure professional and technical career development. Good understanding of civil and road engineering principles, road geometry design process and road safety considerations and requirements. Proficient in the use of 12D and/or Civil 3D and OpenRoads would be an advantage Proficient in the use of drafting software packages such as AutoCAD and Microstation, including Vehicle tracking software. Minimum 5 years of experience in the design and delivery of road and highway infrastructure projects. Good understanding of BIM / DE requirements and deliverables Effective communication skills.
