The Role We’re seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join our Sustaining Capital Projects Team, supporting the delivery of civil earthworks and HDPE piping works. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to prepare hard‑dollar tenders and support project programming, planning, and key deliverables. Once awarded, you’ll transition to site and take on a hands‑on engineering role, overseeing ITPs, quality, and the day‑to‑day execution of the project. Key Responsibilities Interpret drawings and review scopes of work to ensure accuracy in pricing and execution Assess pricing, quotes, and estimates from subcontractors and suppliers Manage onsite resources, including plant, personnel, and equipment Support project start‑up activities such as constructability reviews and methodology development Provide technical engineering support to project teams and work closely with Supervisors Prepare project deliverables for site execution, including work packs, QA/QC documentation, methodologies, and schedules Coordinate procurement of materials in line with project budgets Assist with weekly and monthly reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and scheduling Liaise with clients, internal management, and key project stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress About You This role is ideal for a Civil Project Engineer who enjoys working across the full project lifecycle. You’re someone who is comfortable moving between office‑based planning and hands‑on site execution, and you thrive in environments where you can influence both the commercial and technical outcomes of a project.
