We're looking for a Business Development professional to grow our national membership base and drive commercial success across Liquor and Food. You'll use your industry knowledge, financial skills, ensure promotional excellence to onboard new members across our food and liquor network. Description The key responsibilities of the Business Development Executive are: Proactive networker focused on acquiring medium-to-large scale accounts such as hotel chains and restaurant groups across Sydney, ACT, SA, and VIC Identify and convert new business opportunities across the Food and Liquor sectors. Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify potential areas for business expansion. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients. Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve favourable terms for the company. Use data to craft compelling proposals tailored to specific business needs. Onboard new members and guide them through our business models Ensure promotional campaigns are executed to standard in-store. Promote and grow our private label product range. Maintain a detailed sales pipeline and report regularly to management. Leverage your network to build strong relationships with members, suppliers, and distributors. Stay ahead of industry trends and represent The Company at events and networking opportunities and promote brand presence. Report to Head of Procurement Travel regionally and interstate as necessary to grow Food and Liquor accounts. Profile A successful Business Development Executive should have: 5 years in sales or business development with previous experience in food, liquor or hospitality. Proactive networker who thrives outside the office focused on acquiring accounts. Strong understanding of wholesale supply chains and ordering platforms. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strong emotional intelligence. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables) for pricing analysis. RSA Certificate required. Highly motivated, confident, and results driven. Organised and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
